Meet our Executive Director
Sandra Basanti
Sandra Basanti has been the Executive Director of DCNC since January 2023. It's Sandra's job to ensure that our industry's needs are represented through advocacy and regular meetings with elected officials. You can often find her at the Wilson Building, giving testimony and meeting with city authorities to advocate for DC's small businesses.
Sandra is also the founder of Pie Shop, a woman-owned small business in Washington D.C. Established in 2010, Pie Shop is renowned for its delicious pies and serves as an independent live music venue, supporting the vibrant local arts community.
